Mango Drives a Car

Found this old photo from when Mango was quite young and was allowed to drive

Mango joins NIPPERS

Because her family have joined Holywell bay Surf Lifesaving Club Mango now thinks she is a NIPPER too!

She loves the water although when the kids are messing around on their boards she keeps trying to get on with them! Its great fun getting mango to do a pretend 'rescue', just grab her collar and she will tow you back in through the surf!

Here she is in her H Bay outfit.
to find out more about Holywell Bay Surf Life Saving Club  - officially the best surf club in Cornwall visit their facebook page.

Mango Gets in Chat Magazine

Mango Makes the big time - this summer she was even in CHAT magazine - that quality publication so packed full of heart warming stories - with its strapline - Life, Death, Prizes!

Mango gets a boy friend

Mango is looking  very pleased with herself this week
she has found a nice boy friend

his name is Flynn and he is a fantastic fox red working labrador that lives about half an hours drive from us.
Flynn has terrific breeding like mango with loads of field trial champions in his ancestry. He is a fox red labrador - fox red is a rare colour variety caused by a gene that is only visable in yellow labradors. Flynn is really handsome and Mango REALLY likes him

Hopefully Mango may be in pup soon!!

Mango is very smiley all the time at the moment!

here are some pictures of Flyn

Here are his websites

Mango is a very dark yellow labrador so it will be interesting to see if they do have pups whether any of them are fox red - which is definitely my favourite labrador colour!

Hi Im Mango!

My name is Mango.
I am a yellow working Labrador retriever.
I live in St Newlyn East a village near Cornwall's North Coast about 5 miles from Newquay, Cornwall.

I was born on June 29th 2009.
Here is me when I was 5 weeks old and I was chosen by the Slater family.

My mum is called Jelly (kennel club name 'Bealycourt Minstrel') and she is a working Labrador from a long line of field trial champions. She lives at Bealycourt in North Devon, here is a photo of my mum and my two aunties.

My Dad is also a working Labrador called Billy Whizz (Branxholme Bailey of Highdunscott) - he is very small and athletic and extremely fast hence the name! He is an open field champion, he lives at Highdunscott  also in Devon.
Billy Whizz

I was one of a litter of 11 - in my litter there was one deep foxy red boy, three yellow girls (I was one of them) and 4 black boys and 3 black girls.
The Slater family came back and picked me up when I was 8 weeks old and I moved to Cornwall!
